The Boys ending things with a movie is an exciting idea in theory, but the fact that creator Eric Kripke seems hesitant about the whole thing does make it seem even less likely. Adding to the risk factor is the fact that the film would absolutely need to be as Rated-R as the rest of the series, making it an even less appealing pitch to the studio execs at Amazon.
Of course, fans of the series would likely be buying tickets, but would that be enough to justify a big movie budget, marketing, and a theatrical release?
